The Evangelium Course

A Multimedia Course in the Catholic Faith Based on the Catechism of the Catholic Church

Evangelium is a resource which enables all parishes to run courses for adults on the Catholic Faith. It offers an excellent grounding in the full panorama of Catholic beliefs. A modular resource, it follows the same division as the Catechism of the Catholic Church into Creed, Sacraments, Morals and Prayer.

The three components of the course are published by the Catholic Truth Society:

Participant's Book (one per student, containing all the taught material);
Presenter's Guide (one for each person giving the presentations);
CD-ROM (containing the twenty-five PowerPoint presentations and hundreds of beautiful images).

Evangelium not only teaches about the Faith. It also gives a rich visual experience of the Faith by means of contemporary multimedia technology and over one hundred of the greatest works of art in Christian history.

This second edition, published in 2008, includes an extensively updated Presenter's Guide complete with over 80 tough questions and model answers and detailed step-by-step guidance for presenting the PowerPoint slides.

EVANGELIUM provides an excellent means to grow in knowledge of our faith. In other words, it is a most worthy tool of the New Evangelization
